NNY Regional Profile
The six-county Northern New York region includes Jefferson, Lewis,
St. Lawrence, Franklin, Clinton and Essex counties. The links below
provide a statistical snapshot of agriculture in the region by county and
in total. The tables – with data from the 2002 & 2007 Census of Agriculture -
include the:
• number of farms, land in farms & average size of farm
• percentage of acres in cropland, pasture, woodland...

• livestock numbers and acres in various crops

• annual milk production by county and per cow,
